Caly’s POV (BP)
Seeing Nonna was great, I got to meet all the women in her ‘Bonnet Club’. Today’s project was centrepieces for tomorrow’s ceremony. Seemed like overkill to me, but Nonna felt differently. She was excited as this was the first happy ceremony since Stav’s introduction as Alpha. I couldn’t help but think something was missing though. It took me an hour to realize what it was.
“Terri, can you phone Tabi and Julia? This joining is for them, they should be down here helping so they can see the pack coming together for them.”
“Make sure Julia’s Aunty comes too, Cucciola.” Nonna gives Terri the look, and she starts texting on her phone. Mary turns to me and whispers, “The young one needs some direction in her life.”
“I guess that will be our next project,” I give her a wink. W
