We all set out on a run to examine the border for any signs of invasion. Artemis pointed out some empty potion bottles just outside the border. I sniffed them, but any scent that was attached to the bottles had faded. Kari sniffed and also shook his head, "no good, whoever left these had to have done this several days or weeks ago. Their scent is completely gone." Artemis tilted her head and sighed softly, "something about this just feels rehearsed, like it was planned like that. As an ally, I should've warned the pack sooner, but us witches can disguise our scent via a potion or using a spell. But as Émeline explained earlier, two or more spells can't be used at once due to the dark ages. So, if a witch uses potions alone, I'd have to say they're very young and inexperienced
