"Alexandria...." A soft voice resonated in my head. "Alexa...." The voice repeated, and I struggled to determine its source. Yet, my focus remained on the fire surrounding me, threatening to engulf me.
Trapped, with the door firmly shut behind me, I exerted all my strength to push it open and escape the encroaching flames. My heart pounded fiercely in my chest, like an unyielding drumbeat.
"Listen to me, Alexandria!" The voice in my head suddenly screamed at me. "Why are you acting so weak and defenseless?"
Stammering, I wondered who was calling my name, unable to think of anyone at that moment.
"Have you lost all your willpower to the extent that you don't recognize your wolf? Wake up from your stupidity, Alexandria!" The voice grew louder.
