The ringing of my phone beside me startled me awake from my deep slumber. Exhausted from the blood transfusion, attending to realm business, I dozed off once Alexa left my side, desperately needing rest.
When I realized that my phone wouldn't stop ringing,I groggily reached for the phone on the desk, situated between my son and me.
