I rubbed my hands for the umpteenth time as we walked down the cold side of the in-between. After Kao had informed us of the time limits, I checked my wristwatch and saw that it was counting down. We only had thirty minutes until we rescued Cody and left the in-between. Raziel must have seen me checking the timer as he also glanced at his wristwatch and then gave me a reassuring smile.
"This place lives up to the name cold side. It's so cold..." Aria complained. "Because we are wolfless here, it's so hard to maintain our body temperature," she added.
