Days had passed since the roundup, and Thomas was anxious. He’d tried to find out more about Elias’s brother, because he couldn’t help but think Liam could be involved, and he didn’t like what he’d discovered. At all. And he liked even less that Liam was Elias’s brother. Was it possible that Liam was somehow using his own brother? And if so, why didn’t Elias leave? How could he be related to such a man? How could Thomas find a way to incriminate the son of a b***h? He had to talk with Anne and with their boss, and follow him, tail him, drive him out, and show what a piece of s**t he was. If possible, lock him up for the rest of his life.
