“Christ.” Thomas sighed, passing a hand through his hair. He was in the car, and there was no sign of Elias in the parking lot. He had no idea where he had disappeared to, and he didn’t want to consider the possibility that he’d jumped in somebody’s car just to get away from him.
Elias kept running. After every conversation, he just ran away. He wore Thomas out, leaving him nearly breathless.
