"Looshin!" Alia squeal as she ran towards me with her wide arms.
"Hey! my honeybunch." I kneeled to match her level and embrace her in my arms. Alia is 5 years younger to me, which means she is just 15 years old teen. She is the one who makes me forget all my worries with her angelic smile. And yeah, I left for London a week after Krish, and now I'm in London airport hugging my little princess.
"You took so much time to come." She pouted, cutely.
"I'm sorry, honey." I held my ears. "I had exams to attend, but I've bought so many gifts for my little princess."
"Ahem, Ahem." Someone fake coughed above us.
"Rags." I stood to hug Ragini, my elder sister who is five years older than me. "I missed you."
"Missed you, too." She passed softly on my back.
"But I missed you, more than her." Alia pouted again.
"Yeah princess, I know." I chuckled along with Rags.
"Come let's go." Rags took my baggage, while I carry Alia in my arms.
"Where's mom and dad?" I asked Rags as she placed my baggage on the car deck.
"There's a big welcome party for you in the evening, so they're busy arranging it. And I thought it would be best if I and Alia come to receive you and have some sissy times." She winked as she closed the deck.
The drive to home was just amazing, teasing each other, remembering the old memories of childhood and pulling legs of Alia was the exact fun to have. Seriously, I missed having family time with my family.
"How's Grandpa and Grandma?" I asked Rags, who was driving while Alia was on the back seat and I was in the passenger seat.
"Yeah, they are fine. They visited us a couple of months ago."
"Hmmm." I looked out of the window, and the memories of Grandpa and Grandma passed in my mind. I missed the warm and motherly hug of Grandma, which consoles and fades away all my stresses and tensions and ever-ready bits of advice of Grandpa, which sometimes annoys but helps at time. They were the only people, I've spent half of my life with; I wish if they were here with me.
"You miss them, right?" Rags, voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
I nodded.
"They too miss you, a lot." She smiled. "Here, we are." She said and the opened and pulled in front of the house.
I felt like a five-year-old kid, who becomes excited about seeing a Disney World. I immediately jumped out of the car and run into the house and saw mom, who was talking on the phone. I tip-toed and closed her eyes.
"Looshin?" She guessed in the first attempt.
"I missed you, maa." I hugged her from the back.
"Missed you, too dear." She turned around to hug and kiss me on my forehead. And her eyes were brimming with tears.
"When did the Daddy's girl change into mamma's girl?" a voice came behind me.
"Daddy's girl will always be the daddy's girl," I said and jumped into my dad's arm which was wide open.
"Definitely." He nodded.
"Love you, dad, and missed you a lot." I snuggled in his arms.
"Missed you too, honey." He kissed my forehead. "So, my small girl has turned into a beautiful young lady, huh?" He raised an eyebrow.
"I'll always be your small girl, dad."
"Did she know that even we're present here!" My eyes opened up instantly on hearing the voice.
"Grandma!" I turned and looked Grandpa and Grandma standing behind mom. I went running towards them and hugged them.
After spending some family time after a long time, mom said me to take some rest as I looked tired, due to jet lag.
"So?" Rags jumped on my bed, as I woke up from my small nap.
"So what?" I said in a husky voice.
"Oh! Come on, girl." She rolled her eyes. "Don't be such a dumbass."
"Okay!" I rolled my eyes, "Spit it out."
"That's my sissy." She clapped her hands excitedly. "Any boyfriends or dating someone?"
"Rags!" I was shocked by her questions. "Remember, that you're my elder sister."
"So what?" she asked nonchalantly.
I rolled my eyes.
"Now say me." She ignored my reaction.
"No one." I lied.
"Don't lie, honey." She smirked evilly.
"Chuck it, Rags." I shook my head, "And please, I need some more sleep. I'm damn tired." I pouted and went back to sleep.
