"I like you.... Blaine."

I waited for her to say those words to me, I... I can't believe I'm hearing this right now.

Please, someone tell me this is not a dream.

"I don't know why I always think about you." She's swiftly walking back and forth in front of me. "I don't know why I feel comfortable when I'm talking to you. I don't know why I feel... blissful when I hear your voice."

"Rayni..."

"I don't know why I want to see you every day. I don't know why I think of you every second of the day. I don't know why I'm happy when I see you happy. I don't know why I'm willing to risk my life just to save you."

So I cupped her cheeks and gave her a kiss to shut her tasty, chatty mouth.

Without waiting for my response. Rayni kisses me gently as if she meant everything she said a moment ago.

My heart is jumping for joy, I can't contain this feeling. I wrapped my arms around her neck.

She breaks the kiss. "I'll take a shower aaand let's talk after?"

I looked around her room and saw the balcony's view and headed there.

Madilim siya, the surroundings must be full of trees. Fresh air. I want this kind of view. Sa amin kasi city lights, maganda naman, but I prefer nature.

"The balcony. I like the view there but I'm afraid that if there's a paparazzo?"

I glance at her for a moment and return my gaze to her nightstand, "No?"

"I'm sorry. But we kissed for like three times today."

"Are you like this to... other... girls?" Was that even a question, Blaine? You know the answer to that.

"Are you jealous?"

"I regularly date and kiss them sometimes but, I don't fuck."

"Blaine?" She framed my cheeks and lifted them up.

"And you're my girlfriend... now." I said in a low voice.

"Okay. Since we're a couple now. Can I ask you a question?" She let go of my face and stared at me.

That's it? No kiss? No hug? Corny.

She guided me to the bed, nauna siyang umupo at sumandal sa headboard. So, I did the same. She takes my hand and intertwines our fingers together.

"You're not afraid of Mr. Barker, are you?"

I rest my chin on her shoulder and she smells... nice. Her flowery scent is conquering my entire senses. I can kiss her all day and I will never get tired of it.

I set my head on her shoulder, "Why would I be afraid of someone who's powerless like him? Other people are afraid of him, not knowing that he's a coward. If I took him down before. I can absolutely do it again."

"Wait, what? Do you have a history with him?"

I glance at her. "You know what? I'm starting to believe that you don't really know how to use the internet." I said chuckling.

"There are celebrities that are prettier than me."

I squint my eyes. "Have you seen Remi's body?"

I removed my fingers from her and got up from the bed. "I think I should go home... it's getting late."

She tugs me back to her, holding both of my wrists and wrapping her arms around my waist.

"You're a jealous type, huh?" She said while pinning me down a little bit more.

"Fine." I pushed her away, guided her to lean on the headboard, and lay my head on her lap.

I felt that she was slightly stiffened for a quick second before composing herself as if nothing had happened.

"So, what happened?"

"He submitted an investment proposal and I blocked him... right away. When his other investors found out that I was not involved in his project, they started pulling out, one by one."

If ever I accepted his proposal, si Hannah ang makakasama niya ng madalas. I don't want anything bad happens to my sister, baka mapatay ko 'yung gagong panot na 'yun.

"Did he blame you?"

"I think? Since he followed us to our house and started harassing me."

"I don't care about those articles. All of them are not real, they just want to type whatever they want."

"You're not mad? Or annoyed?"

"No. The longer you're in the industry, the less you care. You know how our world runs." I lift my face to gaze at her gorgeous bare face. "How about you? You're not annoyed?"

"Sometimes I want to tell them the truth because I want it to stop but, what for? They've already judged me. So, it's really nice when someone, just one or two people, knows about the truth and understands the real you."

I understand you, my Rayni. We can't control the public's opinion. We can't please everyone. Even if they know the truth or not, they still have something to say. Not everyone will like you, kaya minsan dapat, shut up na lang tayo. Bahala sila d'yan mang judge.

"Nakikiliti ka ba?" I asked all of a sudden.

"No, bakit mo naman nasabi?"

"Para ka kasing tuod diyan, galaw galaw din 'te."

"'Te ka diyan, I'm just older than you by 2 years, 'no."

"Alam mo, 'te...." I stopped talking and she was waiting for what I was going to say. Ang cute lang, may ineexpect yata siya na may sabihin ako. "... Gano'n na din 'yun." I laughed at her reaction. Gosh, ang cute ng girlfriend ko, sheeeet!

Tumingin siya sa bintana, "Oh, tapos? 'Pag ikaw hinalikan ko, tanggal angas mo."

Well, my mom taught me not to give up when someone is harassing me so... ayun, I gave her double the amount she was giving me.

I felt her smile between our kisses, thus I bit and sucked her bottom lip, causing her to hitch her breath and moan in my mouth. Then I grabbed a hand full of hair from the back of her neck and slightly pulled it. Her hand starts to roam from my cheek down to my neck and between my breasts. Her palm is burning. It feels so good. I let go of her hair and put my hand down to give her more space to touch me.

But no. Blaine, no. I gently pushed her when I felt her hand slip under my bra.

She immediately raises her hand, "Sorry."

"It's... okay." I'm trying to catch my breath, that kiss was so intense. I've never kissed someone like that. But I'm glad I did that with Rayni.

She kissed my forehead before leaning her back on the headboard. I took her hand and kissed the back of it, interlaced our fingers, and placed it above my abdomen.

It's strange that I can do this to her considering that we've just known each other for a month. Tapos sinabunutan ko pa siya.

"Do you want to come to my office tomorrow?" She asked all of a blue.

"Why...?"

"I told Barker that he was coming to me to kneel and beg for forgiveness."

I immediately sit beside her and face her. Nilagay ko 'yung kaliwang kamay ko sa kama sa bandang right thigh niya.

"Wait lang. Why is he coming to you? He should kneel down to me. I'm the one that he pestered." Woah. Did I just put my hand there? When did I get my confidence? I mean, where?! At siya naman napangisi lang. "Okay. I'll go there. I want to see the look on his face when he's kneeling for another forgiveness and chance."
