When my report was complete, I left the office and took my time walking back to my quarters. I was completely exhausted from the mission.
I had been busy night and day with the details of the resettlement. I felt good about what we had accomplished. The hominids needed space and not be influenced by the colony’s encroachment into their territory. It was only fair that we allowed them to evolve without our tainting them.
