The Mission to Earth

I worked through the night yesterday, but I managed to get a few hours’ sleep this morning. I was on call in the event that the Wormhole was to open. No sooner did I report to my navigational station when the Wormhole opened in all of its glory. Once the ‘Exotic Matter’ was inserted, I slowly navigated Triangulum I through the opening and was followed at 4-hour intervals by the rest of the small fleet. Once inside the Wormhole gravity takes over and our Transporters are pulled through that exceeds the speed of light. It’s been our experience in the past that it takes a little over 12 hours to reach the other side.
