I was standing in the crowd while everyone watches Ryan propose to his mate. This is why I should have been Alpha. I would have created a stronger leadership. How can a human protect our pack? If I was the Alpha no one in my pack would be allowed to take a human as a mate. Dmitri interrupts my thoughts by hitting my arm.
“Hey, look Ajani finally came.”

“If his mate is here, he will go straight to her.”
