Chapter fifty-two

1401 Words

-Xander- I was making my way back to Izaiah, I could see him fighting in the distance. Her scent still roamed around the field. I thought by locking her inside the wind would take her scent away. But it was still lingering as if it was calling for someone. It took everything in my power to control Eros. Pushing him back, he knows she’s not ours. I saw Izaiah stiffen up on the field for a moment before he continued fighting the wolves off him. “You need to get back, something is wrong,” he said through the mind link. “You go. I’ll stay here.” “No, I will be right behind you,” he said with a growl. Before I could turn around, a roar left Ahimoth. Like an explosion of power. All the wolves were tossed back a couple of meters, but they quickly recovered and lunged for Izaiah again.
