The last week has been... well... weird. I didn’t know how else to put it. After doctor Lopez gave me the treatment, I felt different. As if something was missing. She told me it may have something to do with my second mate. Or Xander’s mark. One out of the two. The heat was my animalistic side calling for what was mine. And now, it was being suppressed. She said the feeling I was having would fade over time. I just hope she was right.
The last couple of days I helped in the pack hospital trying to put myself to use. Trying to help with the damage I caused. I was glad to see Indra was still alive. She was barely alive when Izaiah found her. I’m grateful he saved her. If he left her behind...I didn’t think I would ever forgive myself if she was killed.
