Damn, she was good. She watched my every move, even though Izaiah tried to pull her back. She wouldn’t budge. I didn’t know why, but I was proud to see her like this. The first time I saw her, I thought she was weak. But look at her. She’s perfect.
I could see the irritation in Izaiah’s eyes, that his queen was disobeying him in front of everyone. I thought he saw her as his equal. If we looked at it more closely, Elizabeth was of the true royal bloodline. Izaiah was only king because Aurora made her beta king of the south.
