“That’s not Izaiah lying beside us,” Kira’s words repeated inside my mind. My heart raced in my chest. Am I really here? Or is this the same as last time? Am I in someone else’s body? I pinched my arm, hoping to wake myself up from this dream. But nothing; I was here. Not going anywhere. I quietly pushed myself up, trying to catch a glimpse of his face. I held my breath when I looked over his shoulder, not wanting to touch him. But his tousled hair covered his features, making it impossible to see his face. The entire room was filled with his intoxicating scent. I tried to ignore it, focusing on my surroundings, but it was almost impossible. It wasn’t the same room as the last time. I couldn’t remember much from last time, but I knew we weren’t in a bedroom. I wiggled myself out
