SherrySherryThe Unity School had early release today and so she arrives home before everyone else, which gives her the perfect opportunity to decompress. Seeing the box on their doorstep, and Emma’s name on the return address, fills Sherry with nostalgia. The birthday present from her friend reminds her that despite college feeling like a lifetime ago, it’s only been four months.
She runs upstairs, throws her backpack on the bed, and pulls the box out from the closet. Opening the treasure chest, she pulls out a single clove, which makes her mouth water slightly. She longs for the slight euphoric buzz it gives her after deeply inhaling once or twice.
She and her friends liked to smoke these in college, on occasion. Sherry would never sink so low as to be considered a smoke
