They’ve put mirrors or something out on the ridge and they’re telling me the sun ain’t gonna set no more.” Robert notes that Emma is not taken aback by Grady’s childlike demeanor and says, “I’m afraid it ain’t no trick, Grady. None of us knows how or why this has happened. Heck, the government doesn’t even know. Jillian had to call them up and tell them this afternoon what the sun was doing. But it’s going to be okay.
