“What have you done to my sister?” I asked, emotion drained from my face as I stared at him in cold shock. “Just listen,” he said. Part of me couldn’t believe that what I heard was real. When I left just a half an hour ago, May had been safe at home. My life had turned upside down in an hour. My brain was racing, trying to decide the best plan of action I had. There was no way the recording could be real. I glared at Talon, ready to fight tooth and nail. The smile he gave me in return showed the depth off his glee.
