My heart was pounding in my chest as I nervously took another step up the stairs. I didn’t know why I thought not to run away at the sight of him. The curious voice in the back of my head seemed to kill any of my natural instincts- instincts that could potentially keep me alive. It urged me to nose into business that wasn’t mine. I studied the side of his face. He looked to be about my age yet I had never seen him in the school…until now. I wondered how that was possible. I observed his face. His shaggy blond hair swopped into his blue eyes that were perched just above his pointy cheekbones. He had a very defined face, one that couldn’t be forgotten. I was right in guessing who he was.
