12. A country of dreams

Judaism is a culture and religion based on the philosophical beliefs of the patriarch Abraham.

That tribal leader persisted in his vision of a single God, language, culture, and 'promised land'.

He realized that his goal would take many years to achieve.

So, he resolved to pass on his vision and missions to future generations.

A community built up around his vision and goal, which were passed down orally and in written form to future generations.

We can read in the Bible about how this Hebrew group, even while enslaved in Egypt, did not mingle with other cultures and remained unique.

We can read in the Bible about how a great leader named Moses emerged from among them to rescue them from s*****y, as well as their journey to the 'promised land' led by him.

Their subsequent journey was planned in accordance with the dream visions that Moses received on a regular basis.

During the journey, Moses had received dream-visions of all the rules necessary to govern the people.

Thus, they arrived in the 'promised land' that their fathers had envisioned.

They built the nation of Israel, and Moses' rule became the law of Judaism and the nation.

Later, because there were no monarchs like David or Solomon to manage the kingdom, the country dispersed, and the Jews were forced to live in exile for a long period of time.

Even when the Jewish tribe was dispersed all over the world and lived as exiles in many countries, they retained their distinct culture.

Even then, the genetic ladders of Jewish blood were whirling.

Traditional visions and beliefs about the 'promised land' blossomed in the minds of exiled Jews around the world at the same time.

As a result, Jews from all over the world banded together under one flag, and the state of Israel was founded in 1948.

This country has produced geniuses with the capacity to dramatically impact global growth, progress, and perspective.

Albert Einstein, the world's most brilliant scientist; Karl Marx, the inventor of Marxism; Sigmund Freud, the father of modern psychology; and Jesus Christ, the creator of Christian visions, were all Jewish.

It is apparent that their dream visions were the invisible driving force behind all of their talents.

Students who study Jewish history may realize that the power of dreams is enormous and capable of changing the course of history.
