Marla, the “Zoo Keeper,” as Casco had titled her, was convinced that the present tenant in room six might make a better Dom than somebody’s personal f**k toy. She told Casco this twice before he realized that if this were true, the value of the prize chick currently undergoing training might be considerably higher than the asking price he quoted George Hendricks. Given this possibility, Casco suggested that Marla do some “Special Research” with Whitney. He also failed to tell her that he and Whitney had a pact that, verbally at least, made her a working partner.
“Go to it,” Casco said. “But you know the rules. If you do any damage, you take her place.”
