I picked up my burner phone and dialed my friend's number. She picked up on the second ring. "Hey, August, I need your help." "What the hell, are you alright? I saw your house and didn't know what to do. What the hell is going on?" "Yea, yea trying to stay above ground, ya know, and I will tell you later." "Well, in that case, what do you need, Aza?" "August, I need some information." I heard her say s**t below her breath. "Ok, let me call you back." She hung up the phone. I walked back into the living room where Bean was sitting. "Ok, Bean, I'm all set, just waiting for her to call back. "Where is Samantha?" "She is upstairs in my room taking a nap. She figured we had enough time." "Oh yeah, we got some time to kill." I started thinking about Jay. "I know what you are thinking, and I think you should. Hell, somebody needs to have fun. You and Jay really need to talk or have a "long conversation" while you wait for your call." She put air quotes on the words long conversation. She was smiling so hard it reached her eyes. "I will take your word for it." I turned and walked away." She started laughing, "Go get him, girl." I went to my bedroom door and cracked it open. "Jay?" I called his name quietly. But I didn't get an answer. So I opened the door all the way. He was asleep on the bed. So, I closed the door and headed up the stairs to see Anna. I cracked the door to her room and saw her grandmother reading her a naptime book. Ok, so this is going to be a long wait, I thought. So I just headed back down to my room. Climbed into bed with the file about Jay and me. I got through the four pages, and then my eyes got heavy. I closed them to give myself a break. "Mmmm, that feels good" I was slightly awoken. "I know it does. I was interrupted earlier." Jay was whispering. "You're so sensitive when you first wake up." I was half asleep when I really opened my eyes and found his head between my legs. He gave me a long lick. "Jay, oh my God." "Not quite, sweetness, but that's what I like to hear, babe." Jay was lapping around my folds and sliding his tongue in and out of me. "Jay, please, please," I started begging him. I was so close. "I got you, Aza. I got you, baby." He slid a finger in me, and my hips rose up off the bed. He pumped in and out of me a couple of times. Then he added another finger. I let out a moan and squirted all over his hand. I started to spasm, and he kept going. He licked it up like it was gravy on a plate. "JAY"!!!! My lungs were on fire from screaming. My screams were only encouraging him to keep going. He kept moving his tongue, and I gripped the sheets hoping for some kind of help to control myself. I just gave up. "Please, baby, stop, please." I was pleading. Tears were rolling down my face from the pleasure. "What's the magic word?" It was a wicked smile on his face as he went back to what he was doing with that mouth of his. I orgasm again. "SUGAR!! I screamed out my safe word. He was right. I am sensitive when I first wake up. He instantly stopped. He crawled up beside me. He started stroking my arm. "You ok?" "I'm fine. Thank you." I finally caught my breath when my phone ranged from an unknown number. I kissed Jay on the lips. I answered the phone. "Who is this?" "Hey, Aza, I can talk now." It was August. I sat up in bed. "Ok, I need to know who set out the contract for the jobs with the bosses in Italy. I also need the one with the judge, a nurse, and a sixteen-year-old girl." "Aza, those are all your jobs dealing with those clients." She was surprised. I wanted to know. "I know, I know, but I need you to find out who is running The Organization. I know you can do it." "What happened to your don't ask, don't tell rule." "This is important, I have a problem I have to solve, and it involves those clients. Can you send me the info, August?" "Yea, but not through email. Meet me somewhere." "I can do that. I will send you the location when I get there. Oh, and August, make sure you are not followed." "You got it. I learned from you. After all, I know how this works." We hung up. I looked at Jay and smiled. "Wanna go shopping?" I asked with a smile. He smiled at me. "I love shopping babe, let's go." I left a note for everyone, and Jay and I headed out the door. We went to a*****e maybe thirty minutes from the house. I had sent August the location already, so we just had to wait. "So this is your job?" Jay sounded so bored. "Seems pretty boring to me." "Well, it's not. As a matter of fact, if you feel under your seat, you will find a present." He reached under his seat and felt a gun. "Aza, you put a gun in my car?” He asked, in surprise. I was laughing so hard at his surprise. "I'm sorry, babe, if it makes you feel better, there is one under my seat too." "Woman, I drive this car around." He scolded me. "Then don't get stopped," I was still laughing at him. "Wait, are there guns anywhere else in my car?" He asked, looking around in the car. "Maaaybeee. "AZA!” He yelled. "I'm sorry, ok." I was still laughing at him. I grabbed his face and gave him a sweet kiss. "I like to be safe and resourceful." My phone began to ring. I answered the phone. "Yea." "You are not going to like what I got." August sounded sad. "Where are you?" I asked. "I just got here. Come to the right side of the building," She instructed me. "Ok, I'm on my way," I told her. Jay drove to the right side of the building. When we got there, I jumped out of the car. August got out of her car. When I was training her, people would say that we look alike. I never saw it. But because of the comment, I called her my little sister and took her under my wing. She is an intelligent 5' 4" tall woman, yeah we were the same height, but she had long brown hair, bronze skin, hazel eyes, and an athletic build. When I greeted her, she gave me a long hug. "What is this hug for?" I hugged her back. "You are going to need it." She kept looking at me with sad eyes. Jay was sitting in the car, looking around. August handed me the file. I began to read it. My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it. Grief rolled across my face, and so did anger. I looked up at Jay. He looked at me and mouthed what's wrong. August noticed it. "You ok." I can hear the concern in her voice. "No, this is going to help. It's a f****d up situation. I'm still going to have to solve the problem. I can't act like the past two days have never happened." August could still hear the hurt in my voice, even though I was trying to hide it. "I told you, you would not like it." She patted me on the back. "Well, I appreciate the work and everything," I told her. "If you need my help, you know where to find me," She said to me. "I know, and thank you again. I will be in touch." I gave her a quick hug and got back in the car with Jay. "Let's go," I told him. "Aza baby, you ok? You look like you are going to be sick." "Just drive, Jay, please, just drive." I was quiet the whole ride back. Jay was trying to find out what was wrong with me. We arrived at the house, and I jumped out and ran in. "Aza, Aza AZA"!! I can hear Jay screaming my name as I ran into the house. I ran up the stairs and into my daughter's room. She was on the floor playing with her learning blocks. I got down on the floor and hugged her so tight. "Mommy, what's wrong? "Don't cry, Mommy." I can hear her tiny voice trying to console me. I held her so tight. Jay walked in the door. "Daddy?" The concern in her voice made me break down even more. Jay came over and put his hands on Anna's shoulder. "It's ok, sweetheart. Mom! Mom!" I heard Jay call for his mother. Sarah came rushing to the door. "What, what's going on? Jay just pointed toward me. "Oh my God, Paul!" Paul ran into the room and stood there looking at me. "Come on, Anna," Sarah said. And Paul reached for her. "It's ok, sweetie, go with Nana and Poppa," Jay told her, prying her out of my grasp. By this time, everyone was at the door looking at me. "Jay, what happened?" Bean asked. Then Samantha came running in. "What, Aza, what's going on?" she asked. I was on my knees crying, and I could not get myself together. Jay came over to me, got down on his knees, gave me a hug, and held me tight. "Baby, let's get you downstairs and talk in the living room." He helped me up, and we all went downstairs. We were in the living room. Bean looked concerned. The worry in her voice was evident. "Jay, what happened?" "We went to meet a woman. The woman looked like her." "Oh, you met with August," Samantha said. "Ok, so then what happened?" Bean asked. "She gave her this file." Jay handed Bean the file. "Then, Aza went pale. I never saw her like this but one time before," Jay said. "Really, when? Samantha asked. "When she left her parents' house." Jay kept holding me as I cried. "Give me that file," Samantha demanded, snatching it from Bean's hand. I was still sitting there trying to compose myself. "My parents, my parents are drug lords," I said. I was still crying and couldn't catch my breath. "My father put a hit out on his own daughter because she left. My mother let him hire people to find me and kill me. Who the f**k does that? Who puts a hit out on their own daughter?" I started to see spots from my rage. They all just looked at me speechless. They did not know what to say. Bean was shaking her head. "You know, Aza, you have one f****d up family." I looked up at her, and a smile came across my lips. I started laughing. They were still looking at me. "I am going to f*****g kill them. I am not that scared-ass little girl anymore." "Wait, do they know who you are?" Bean asked. "I mean do they know that you changed your name and that you are the best damn assassin around?" She rephrase the question. "Aww, s**t, this is going to be epic," Samantha said. I just looked at her. "Look, they came for you first, in your past life and this life. You deserve to show them who you are now. They stop being your parents the day they put that contract in effect." I turned my attention to Bean. "To answer your question Bean, no, I don't believe that they know who I am now." "Then we use that to our advantage. Do you know where we can find them? I mean, if you think back, it's not that hard to find them. They might be hiding out in some remote location." She is stating the obvious, and I was loving it. Jay gave me a kiss on my forehead. "Ok, well, I'm going to check on Anna after you scared the life out of her." "I'm coming with you, and then we are going to come up with a plan." "Yes, yes, this is going to be good." Samantha sounded so excited. I just kept staring at her. "Don't look at me like that. I just want to make sure they pay for the pain and suffering they have put upon you, me, and your family through." I gave her a soft smile. "You know Samantha, you are becoming a good friend." She just smiled. Almost dying together has an effect on people. She has helped me these past few days, and she didn't have to. I hugged her. It was spontaneous, and she was not expecting it. "Ok, ok, go talk to your daughter." She was patting me on the back as we hugged. I was heading up the stairs with Jay, and he was looking at me. "I'm fine, Jay." "I want to believe you. It's a lot to take in, in so little time." "Jay, I'm fine." We went to his parents' door and knocked. "Come in," Sarah said softly. We walked into the room. Anna was sitting on the bed with her grandparents. You can tell she has been crying. "Anna, come here, honey." I had my arms stretched out for her welcoming. She got off the bed and made her way to me. I got down to her level and gave her a hug. "Mommy, you feel better now?" She sniffled, and I wiped a lingering tear from her face. "Mommy feels so much better when you hug her tight. I didn't mean to scare you. I just want you to know you are my heart, sweetie. I want you to know how much I love you, sweet girl." Jay got down beside us. He looked at her and smiled. "I want you to know Anna, mommy is going to be ok." "Ok, Mommy, ok Daddy, I love you too." She gave us the biggest hug. "Jay, what's going on," Paul asked. I grabbed Anna by the hand. "Come on, sweet girl, let daddy talk to Nana and Poppa." "Ok, mommy, come on, we can have a tea party in my room." I smiled and followed her. Jay started telling his parents what was going on. After about thirty minutes, Jay and Sarah came to Anna's room. I looked at Jay. I could tell he was in deep thought. "Is Paul alright." "He is fine, still processing the information I told him." Jay walked over to us and stood there looking down while Anna and I were playing. "Excuse me," Sarah said, entering Anna's room. "But I have come to have tea with the prettiest princess of the land. Jay snapped out of his daze when his mother touched his shoulder. "Umm, you ready, Aza?" I looked up at Jay. "As I ever will be," I said. "Well, let's go make a plan, baby."
