POV: Sun Goddess                 “How dare you imply that I am weak?” the Moon Goddess screamed at me.                 I laughed, “you know it’s true, the humans wouldn’t even see you if it was not for my light.  How would they know you existed?”                 “I am more than my appearance,” she growled, “I create the tides, I protect the night-“                 “Without me there wouldn’t be night or day.  Without me, humans wouldn’t exist!” I retorted.                 “And yet it is I that the humans look up to the most.  They think I am more powerful and mysterious-“                 “Enough!” a bodiless voice commanded.  The Creator.  The only one who could stop our endless battles.                 “Creator-“ the Moon Goddess pleaded.                 “No. I mean it this time.  This has gone on for long enough.  Far too long, really,” The Creator declared.                 “What are we supposed to do?  Ignore each other?” I scoffed, that would never work.                 “I did not create you to ignore each other.  I did not create you to fight.  I created you to work together.”                 “Well that doesn’t seem likely, does it?” the Moon Goddess sighed.                 “No, not if I let things continue as they are.  Which is why I am going to try something new.  It is time to send you both to Earth.”                 I couldn’t believe it, it had been a long time since we had been allowed to visit, it was a rare treat for us.  But why would The Creator be rewarding us when he was so mad?  It seemed rather unlikely that he would be sending us without a catch.                 “Earth?  Do you mean it?” the Moon Goddess asked, her excitement showing that she had yet to realize what I had.                 “Yes. Earth,” The Creator responded.  “But you will not be going as goddesses this time.  No, that would hardly seem fair given the circumstances.  No, I will be sending you as humans.  Your souls will be the only thing you take with you, that’s right Moon Goddess, none of your powers.”                 There it was.  Humans.  How did he think we would survive like that?  And how would it help?                 “You will not remember who you are, either, so you won’t miss your powers for long.  For this to work, you will have to believe you are human and see and think as a human does.”                 “For what to work?” I asked, beginning to grow impatient, “what do you think this will accomplish?”                 Though I could not see him, I felt The Creator’s smile.  “If the experiment goes as planned, this will teach you the importance of each other and how vital each of you are to human life.  You will be allowed to regain your goddess forms when you both have learned this lesson.”                 “Both of us?  But the Sun Goddess has never been able accept my importance!” the Moon Goddess cried.                 “Both of you!” The Creator commanded, and before either of us could protest anymore, I felt a horrible pain at my core as The Creator ripped our souls out of our godly bodies.  The pain was blinding… unbearable… and then I felt no more.
