After that incident, kelvin got control over everything the man had, well… all kelvin did was to destroy the main power while mark and bron took care of everything, putting it under kelvin's name. Cleaning up everything, they completely changed the g**g's power to something more solid, more powerful than it was before.

Reconstructing their forces, mark and bron created a syndicate for the purpose of serving kelvin, protecting, surveying and other things, kelvin's fighting force increased drastically overnight. While all this was being done kelvin was admitted in the hospital because of his hand, damaged from the battle with the ex-hunter, not knowing of what's been happening and what he got control over. He has been staying in a hospital at the big city besides their town for the treatment, kelvin was lucky enough to have an excuse for his parents, using an annual mana tech fair, he could perfectly cover up his stay in the hospital.

A week after he was admitted, he was finally in a condition to move around, walking through the hallway he saw a man looking at the window, with a look of someone with no resolve to live anymore, kelvin for a moment felt a familiar feeling from the man.

Days later, at night, towards the VIP section of the hospital, two shadowy figures were moving suspiciously.

The two stopped in front of a room, slowly opening the door, they entered with cold expressions, staring at the man in the room lying on the bed, with no hesitation, one of the guys took out a knife, without hesitation he was about to kill the person staying in the room. The moment his blood l**t was released, he heard something behind him, as he looked back he saw his partner on the floor with his heard twisted, he immediately kept his guard up but before he could act, he was killed in a flash. The shadowy figured that killed the assassins moved towards the man on the bed, the moonlight shone on it , revealing the face of the figure, and as expected it was kelvin. It seems kelvin noticed them since they entered the hospital and followed the since their movement was suspicious.

As he gazed down at the person on the bed, kelvin remembered he was the same man he saw at the hallway. "Just what did this man do to call for him to be attacked like this?" he thought to himself. The man woke up, he looked at kelvin then the men on the floor then back at kelvin, looking back at kelvin, he had a look on his face, as if he understood what was going on, but strangely kept his calmness. Kelvin was curious as to why the man wasn't scared or even surprised at his current situation. Was he that didn't care if he died or was he just used to this kind of things.

"Are you not afraid of death?" kelvin said with a cold stare, "…" the man didn't answer as he looked slightly the other way, "what's there to be afraid of?". The man who lived to his fullest, creating his own empire with his own hands, all that hard work and sacrifice, but what did he get In return, betrayal. The moment the secret about his health conditions were revealed, they all turned on him, he so called friends, family, all the people who together with him built the company, he didn't see any hope in living.

Kelvin was confused at that moment, the man sounded like he already gave up on life but his eyes says otherwise. "You are just like him" kelvin thought as he looked at him. As kelvin was about to go out he noticed something strange about the man's body, he let out a grin as if he got an idea.

"I'm guessing you are someone important for people to come… greet you like this"

"Why are you asking?"

"Do u want to make a deal?"

"What deal can you can make with a dying person?"

"Life"

"What?"

"I can make you live"

The expression kelvin had at that moment was that of a devil proposing a deal. The man looked at kelvin's face, not caring for what he will have to do in return replied to the proposal. "If you can do it, I'll do… I'll do anything in returntr, MAKE ME LIVE" looking with a strong resolve and no hint of doubt, he accepted the deal with no hesitation.

It's been two weeks since then and he has been secretly treating the man ever since, using a ki technique he knew he could easily cure the treatment that was thought untreatable. The ki technique is really effective against this kind of illness but kelvin wasn't has strong as he used to in his past life, with the amount of ki he has now he could only treat it slowly. The man eventually got better, putting the doctors at shock, there where even rumors that he met his guardian angel.

"Mr. Andrew, it seems you've recovered to full health between this weeks and are ready to be discharged, and uhm if I may ask did anything happen during the time you were admitted. Because no matter how we try to explain your condition it's impossible, at least with science, even with the latest technology it's still something that is not possible. Did you really meet a guardian angel or something?"

"Ha ha, I don't know about angel, more like a devil"

"Hm? Did u say something?"

"ah no, by the way, I'm looking for someone in the hospital, he should be admitted I think"

Kelvin in his room, was checking the rewards he got from the system after defeating the ex-hunter and taking down the g**g. Noticing something weird from the items he got, he got a sudden visit by the doctor and behind was Mr. Andrew. The doctor after checking kelvin's condition quickly left, leaving Mr. Andrew together alone with kelvin.

"So how is my guardian angel doing", Mr. Andrew said jokingly

 "I see your completely ok now, aren't you?. You're already cracking jokes now"

 Kelvin told him with a cold face but Mr. Andrew was already used to it, he knows kelvin is someone who tries to act like the bad guy, but still cares, though their condition is certainly special, kelvin still treated him with as much care you will for a loved one.

Mr. Andrew wondered why kelvin treated him that way, he was sure they have never met and it was obvious kelvin didn't do it for money even though he said so at first. Mr. Andrew quit contemplating on the reason for kelvin's help but rather out of gratitude of what kelvin did for him and giving him the chance to get back everything which belongs to him, he decided to take his life has debt and repay him.

"Kelvin if you need anything, just tell me, I'll make sure to do it"

"…" kelvin stared at him with no expression as Mr. Andrew left, wondering why will someone who practically sold himself to me was so optimistic about it, but knowing kelvin's character since he couldn't understand it and it wasn't affecting his life he gave up thinking about it, he went back to checking the rewards he got from the system.

As he checked his reward, he couldn't tell what the first two was and even the system won't tell him much info, all he knew was the first one was a purple mineral that had a strange feeling to it and it was extremely strong he even tried reinforcing his hands with ki to break it after a few failed attempts but it no avail, as for the second one, it was called a memory pill and was meant to transfer memories of someone into him, it is possible to get skills through that, kelvin remembering the pain after getting his past memories back, he didn't think twice, he moved on to the last reward and it definitely was the strangest one. A Black box give of a very strong eerie feeling, even him couldn't withstand it without using his ki to suppress it. The system still denying information, kelvin tried holding the box but as he touched it he suddenly felt like something was being drawn out of him, as he tried to remove his hand from the box, it shined and a sudden wave from it pushed him to the wall with a strong force. When he regained his senses he saw a big portal like looking hole with a strong energy surging out of it. As he got up to look at the portal, he was suddenly sucked in it, soon after he was suddenly in a forest, looking at his surrounding, the air and senses he was feeling he knew that the forest he was in was one that couldn't possibly be from earth.
