Pugsley here. As you may know if you’re a hopeless fan of these narratives, in the other books I have occasionally interrupted Rollo’s incontinent verbal flow to interject certain facts from my unique point of view. I could say I’ve deliberately kept myself out of this little tale for good reason. I could say that my boy Rollo is growing up, or at least coming to face facts. And I could say that I did so for his own good. Gave him his head, like they do a smart horse in a race.
