I woke up pressed against Blane’s chest, as always, his large, muscled body was caging me in. It was my favourite way to wake up. Well, apart from when I woke up with his face between my thighs, that was my other favourite way to wake up. Blane was sound asleep, his chest rising and falling, making me sleepy again. As I snuggled into him, I recalled the events of the night before…and the early morning. It was almost sunrise by the time all of us had finally gotten to bed.
After Josephine had made an appearance, we managed to reach a very reluctant agreement. She would stay on Dragoona for a while to help me figure out my magic. Blane and I had taken her to Marcus, who had a very bad headache after being smacked twice over the head, but apart from that, she was satisfied he was safe.
