Cassie and I were moving as quick as her short legs would allow, back along the winding woodland path towards the castle. I was still clutching the warded cuffs under one arm, while pulling Cassie along with the other. The four Nordic dragons arriving had filled me with a sense of urgency, I knew there must be something wrong for them to show up like this, completely unannounced or without invitation. They lived only a short flight away on an Island between Norway and Iceland, technically they were our neighbours. Dragons knew better than to arrive on another clan’s territory though, it was seen as an act of aggression. I could only hope that the four dragons who had just arrived, were here as allies and not as enemies. Either way, we had to get back and find out.
