Rising above the buildings Atlon saw the towers and spires of the Vaskyros. He knew it for what it was immediately, its jagged outline impinging on him almost physically with its strangely violent symmetry. The cause of Heirn’s exclamation however, was not the building, but the straggling crowd of Tunnellers wandering along the avenue.
