“Who are you and why would mom send you to prison?” The old man didn’t reply and just stared at her. “But then again, you kidnapped me and brought me to this place, so I highly doubt that you’re a good person. What do you want from me?”
The old man laughed. “You think you’re a good person?”
“I didn’t do anything bad in my life, so yes, I am.”
“Everyone has a dark side, lyubov.”
“Don’t call me that. I’m not your love,” he shouted at the man.
It was as if the old man didn’t hear him, but he didn’t use any more endearments. “Weren’t you rumored to have dated a producer to star in a movie? To make a name in the entertainment business? And you say you’re a good person,” he said mockingly.
“You said it yourself—it’s just a rumor. You don’t even know me, so whatever you say is irrelevant.”
