When Vanessa woke up, Kons was nowhere in sight, but he left a note. He said he had to go somewhere important. He strongly advised her not to leave the hotel because it was dangerous. After what happened at her condo last night, she had no intention of going out anyway.
She didn’t know whether to shower first or make coffee. In the end, she chose to shower. That would wake her up in the same way. She enjoyed her shower and looked for something to wear: a white shirt and denim jeans. Besides her watch and a pair of earrings, she didn’t have any other jewelry on. She had nowhere to go, so she opted for casual wear and sneakers and then brewed herself some coffee.
It tasted like crap.
Surely Kons wouldn’t be angry if she went downstairs to the café. She’s not leaving the premises anyway. S
