Thirty-Six The March to Eastwood The March to Eastwood Dawn came far too early. They had all stayed up late planning, and then the orders had to be prepared to ensure a timely march in the morning. Princess Anna was given command of the screening force, one of four elements of the army that was marching northeast to Eastwood. The king had appropriated most of the troops she had taken on her march north, and replaced them with mainly archers; two companies of short bowmen along with two companies of the newer crossbows.
