CHAPTER NINE “Ah, hell,” Ruger grumbled. Keeping his back to the bar, he tracked her progress to the exit. “What did you do?” Blaser asked, coming up behind his brother on his own side of the bar. “I took it too far.” “Yeah, I guessed that. I’ve never seen a woman run away from you so fast. She didn’t finish her drink.” He could be ballsy, but usually got away with his banter because he kept it light-hearted.
