Chapter 8

The evidence we gathered from the Prime Minister was sold by his country's government, primarily to the Supreme Court and the Royal Family, for the equivalent of tons of gold. Ashera has enough money to travel back to Manila. We also do illegal jobs like smuggling, but the group has never committed to killing innocent people; instead, we only accept missions from wealthy people around the world; this is how the group makes money. My one week here in Italy is so exhausting s**t!! I never thought of going out and traveling around Italy, the country of my birth. I'm busy studying my next mission as an assassin, it's more difficult than my mission here in Italy, it's exhausting Brian, especially the one dictated by Patty's war map. While I was checking my email, suddenly someone knocked on my bedroom door. I didn't answer because I know they came in voluntarily, they're open anytime as long as I'm in here. "Are you still working at this time? 10:00am is your flight back to Manila tomorrow." Demeter told me, pulled out a chair and placed it next to me as I sat down. He looked at my files a bit and he saw the war map. "Wow! Brilliant, who did this?” He asked me, but his eyes just stared at my laptop screen, the stupidity was amazing. "No other than a girl flirting with you.. Brother, how long are you going to pretend to be the security guard of the village? Actually in our village?” Yes it is true the man Patty chase on is Demeter my crazy cousin I don't know what his journey is but when he goes home to the Philippines he becomes a security guard of our family village, the name of the village is Ashdem Then Homes combination of the three of us. My brother runs it because I have no appetite for business, so he runs all the Galvarios family businesses, I do not envy me, he even gives me money from the profits of our business, although I have not contributed a single peso. "Your bestfriend is so crazy; I've been spanked multiple times and she's still flirting with me," my cousin said, her irritation visible in her eyes. When we are not on mission, I refer to Demeter as brother, but when we are on mission or at work, he refers to me as Queen. "Patty is beautiful, wealthy, and has a bright future; those are the qualities you seek in a woman," I said, winking at him. He yelled at me. "I can't deny she's beautiful; she's got all the good physical stuff, but fvck!! Baby, I really don't like a stubborn girl." "All right, it's up to you; you might get jealous if you see Patty flirting with someone," I teased my brother, poking him in the side. I can feel my brother's side tickling as his body turned away from me. "Get ready, Ashera!!" he yelled, so he called me Ashera. "I'll never be jealous of her; she's not my type," erupted went out from my room, and the door slammed shut. My brother's irritatiom made me laugh. ~~~ "Brother, aren't you coming to the Philippines with me?" I asked my brother as I was arranging my belongings to enter the airport's departures area. My brother drove me because he said Ruxe had done well and was being groomed to be the next mafia lord.. "I'll be returning home next week; we still have family matters that need to be resolved." "It's up to you; maybe Patty will get bored if you spend too much time here and she will find Korean sausage, and her appetite for Italian sausage will fade," I teased him while blinking my eyes. "Shut up, enter the departure area quietly; your private plane is waiting." Before I left, I kissed his cheek. But when I was in the middle of the departure area, I screamed at him again. "Don't worry, brother; I'll keep an eye on Patty so her Cheeso Debola doesn't eat a Korean sausage." I could see from a distance that his eyes were glaring at me becausw he was embarrassed to see some people laughing at me. He just gave me the middle finger. --- When I arrived at the airport, I was greeted by our chopper, piloted by Joshua. "Why chopper? It's a waste of crude oil." I complain. "You're really stingy Red-Typhoon, your money won't run out on a few gallons of crude oil." He answered. Gosh, I'm going to work here first! My body has no time to rest after our mission to governor syy then another mission to tutor two ugly children. As I waited for the chopper to land in the substructure. Calvien's helper bothering my mind. "Ma'am please stay here for a while because the previous nannies and tutors of the kids didn't last long because the kids were very naughty." "Thanks, by the way, my kids are really stubborn. I hope you get on with them. I'll pay you double." I sighed with relief as I considered how the children were being reprimanded. As far as I know, it's natural for children to be mischievous because that's how they behave at their ages, according to the Piaget developmental stages. "Hey, Red Typhoon, here we are," Joshua said, but I didn't hear him. "HEY!! ASHERAAA AGAIN!!" Joshua exclaimed, and my mind snapped.. "Ah!! What's that again?" I asked out of my senses. "We're here at the helipad, come down, and the group waiting inside." He immediately helped me out of the chopper, and I dashed to the elevator because I had forgotten my belongings in the rush; it was fortunate that Joshua remembered to bring them. "It seems like you're super tired, I've noticed you're always out of your senses. Rest in your room after this meeting.” He spoke to me with concern. I just nodded. We arrived at the ground floor, where our meeting room is, in a matter of seconds. When the elevator doors opened, my group was solemn. They are all doing something, despite their apparent calm. Asunta, Kathya, and Red Cobra converse while Shyra repairs our gun. Klein, Nather, and Jerick are also busy flipping files. I smile at Patty as I turn my head to her. She is focused on her laptop. I know she's using electronic sketching to create a war map.. "Well, well! The Assassin pack is super busy," I exclaimed as I exited the elevator. Joshua was right behind me, carrying my belongings. They both turned to face me and nodded in response. My lips parted at what I saw; that's strange, really strange. I noticed Joshua struggling to carry my three suitcases. I stretched out my hand. "Give me my suitcase, I'll just put it on the side," I stated emphatically. He took a deep breath and raised an eyebrow at me. I laughed quietly at his reaction. "It's good you thought you had stuff. THANK YOU?" He said with emphasis the words THANK YOU. I took my suitcases and put them aside, without saying thank you. "I help you, but you're still angry.." he grumbled, but I shrugged and walked over to the swivel chair.
