I felt myself swelling with pride because she knows when she looks at me like she is right now, I’d give her the moon and everything its light touches, if she asked.
“Tell me more,” feeling so pleased that she wanted to do something so noble. I knew I was grinning from ear to ear because I had been waiting for the moment that she would accept being my luna. I wanted her to feel like she truly belonged here, that she would make a difference. I knew she silently was searching for her purpose in life, outside of me and the pack.
