a year before everything comes crashing down Layla's point of view: "Come on Jack hurry up!" I screamed from downstairs. "Just a minute, I'll be right with you!" Jack, my brother, screamed from upstairs. As I'm waiting next to our staircase, I think about what future may hold for me. I actually never introduced myself to you, I'm Layla, eighteen years old girl. Just like any other girl I have my opinions and thoughts. I'm always searching for my freedom, freedom of choice and just the whole concept of life. I know I just told you a lot of big words in a sentence but all you need to know for now is that im happy, thankful and complete? "Layla do you hear me?" Jack asked. "Ohh, umm yea I'm good I guees I just got lost in my head" I replied with a small smile. "You do that a lot sis and personally I dont think it's that good for you" he said. "Jack you dont have to worry, I'm all good, I really am!" I said. I really think that Jack just worries too much, he never accepted the idea of me growing up and leaving. It's my senior prom night, am I excited? Well do you want a short no or a long one? I'm not excited because there is no one to be excited for, all of my friends have dates and I'm not that much of an outgoing person I never really meet anyone. Jack is going to drive there and I'll be going home with one of my girlfriends Opel. I meet Opel back in middle school and we just clicked. She has a date, it's a jock, his name is Mark. Do I ship them? No, but again that's not my choice to make, it's her life and her relationship. I really hope that tonight will be something to remember!
