Seoul HIGH CLOSING TIME.... 2:30 PM.
Min-jin, where do you always run off to when the closing bell rings?" Yeon-seo yawned, dragging her bag sluggishly alongside me after we just finished an awful pop quiz in biology class.
"Ahhhh, where I want to go right now is to my bed and my soft, squishy pillow," I grumbled as we finally reached the exit to the school gate.
Our eyes met the Luminous boy band entering their black limousine, and we both sighed, with me realizing that I still had a concert to prepare for.
"I would've said being a rockstar is fun – going to late-night parties, singing in concerts, and staying up all night for a new song. But after that double period in biology class, I feel bad for those poor souls," Yeon-seo said, finally crumbling to the ground, with me still dragging her by her hands.
"Could you carry me, Min-jin? I don't think I can walk home today," Yeon-seo whined.
"I was about to ask you the same thing," I sighed, but my eyes immediately widened when I saw my manager at the school parking lot. I needed to come up with an excuse for Yeon-seo, but at this rate, I didn't think she was going to let me go.
"I really need your comfort today, Min-jin. I wish I knew your house; we could have a girls' night sleepover," Yeon-seo replied, her voice filled with sleep and extreme fatigue.
"What do I do now?" I thought.
"Hello, ladies! We caught you guys staring at us a while ago. Would you like a ride?" Kim walked forward with that smug look, and I was shocked to see Yeon-seo back to normal so quickly.
"Don't you guys have a concert to perform tonight? We'd be a bother to come along," Yeon-seo replied, pushing back her hair and adjusting her glasses. I rolled my eyes.
"We'd drop you off along the road; it won't be a bother," Kim reassured, his suspicious gaze lingering on me.
What's with this rockstar gang and their constant staring?
"Sorry, but our parents told us not to talk to or go home with strangers, so I'm glad to turn down your..."
"Bye, Min-jin! See you at school tomorrow. You're not ruining my dream of driving in a limo with huge celebrities; I won't agree," Yeon-seo said, already halfway to their car. I couldn't help but sigh. I stared at where Yeon-seo was going and then at my manager.
"If anything happens to her, I'd be glad to be in a case of murdering celebrities," I threatened, then ran off to the parking lot.
"You're welcome, Cheayoung!" Kim yelled behind my back, and I covered my head in shame. The moment my manager saw me running towards them, the bodyguards opened the door, and I immediately entered.
"I can't wait to announce my leave tonight; I'm so exhausted," I whined, and my manager patted my back, passing me my costume. Two makeup crew members were seated beside us and got started on my appearance as soon as the car began to move.
Lim Soo-jin...I whined , my eyes already closing on the soft headrest of the car.
"Is there a way I can transact money to a friend without showing off am cheayoung or freaking the person out with the sum or ....."
"Mrs choi, you know it's not up to you to spend your money and Mr choi, your father, won't be around for another week on a business trip." Lim soo-jin interrupted, stating matter of factly and I sighed on my seat.
I couldn't just be a famous celebrity and yet watch someone close to me struggle on financial problems.
"Lim soo-jin, can you just tell him, that it's for a friend whose has the same issues as my mom, and I really want to help her out." She sighed and looked at me.
" I would see what I can do Mrs choi." She replied and was shocked to see me fast asleep in the car.
"Thank you. " I mumbled in my sleep.

4 hours later......
So how do I know the Luminous boy band, it's quite a simple answer, I was a student at Seoul Performing Arts High School two years ago, before moving to Seocho-gu in Seoul because of my mom's condition.
I was sad leaving my celebrity friends behind, but later realized those people weren't my friends at all – just spoiled rich kids with too much self-love. They were egoistic and had a pride in making people feel bad.
The students at Seoul Performance Arts thought I left school due to financial problems, so the so-called friends I once believed were my friends stopped contacting me.
Jimin was my classmate then, and he was my crush. I acted weird around him, but we became friends later on. We started practicing together before our separate concerts.
He and the rest of his group were the only ones who stuck with me after I left the school, and they were the only ones I shared my situation with.
Of course, I never told them about changing my name to Min-jin or my new school. However, they still managed to locate me.
"Chaeyoung hiii." A familiar voice called out to me at the entrance of the stadium, and I turned to see Kim and his gang mates; Jimin was nowhere to be found.
" What were they doing here?" I thought, where they following me?
"Oh guys, it's been a long time. What are you all doing here?" I exclaimed, walking over to where they were standing.
"So you're still playing clueless, Chaeyoung. What's your deal about ignoring us earlier in school?" Baekhyon scolded, his voice mixed with annoyance.
"What school? Have you guys changed schools? That's quite nice." I replied, with sweat dropping down my forehead.
Jin rolled his eyes at my reaction and folded his arms. Who am I kidding? They already know about my secret, so there wasn't any point in cooking up lies to them.
"I just... was shocked to see you guys there, and I didn't want you people to expose who I was. The whole school doesn't know I'm Chaeyoung, and I need to keep it that way." I finally replied, bowing my head in shame.
"That figures, but you should have told us before, clearly avoiding us. We were new there and were excited to see a familiar face." Jin replied, his expression now settling.
"Why are you guys in Seoul High, anyways?" I questioned.
It was finally nice to let out all my frustration.
"So you remember the story of Jimin's sister, that got separated from him when they were little? Well, his adoptive parents have found and located her in Seoul High, so Jimin decided to enroll there to see look for her himself." Kim explained, and my eyes widened in shock.
Jimin was an orphan at a really young age but was later adopted by a wealthy family in Seoul. He was separated from his younger sister during the adoption, but he never gave up on searching for her. I thought I was the only one he told that personal stuff to, but I didn't expect his gang to know and say it so casually.
"So where is Jimin now?" I exclaimed, with a worried tone.
"Has he found her...?"
Well... umm... We spent the whole of today after our application, to check the school for clue but there wasn't any luck, but this afternoon, when your friend jumped in our car, she talked a lot and eventually got really drunk, she revealed something personal and we discovered that she was Jimin sister.
What?!.....
