CHAPTER SEVEN Boy, Lost“Ugghhh.” Lucas awoke to a bed that wasn't his. He tried to look around, but it felt like a small gold brick had been smashed just behind his eyes, still smashing for that matter. He opened them anyway. A new sensation took him. “Ahhhh. What died in my mouth?” Fighting the weird headache, he got up anyway and realized he was in Cody's house. The small plastic license plate on the wall announced “California CODY” proving he needed no detective skills. He found the bathroom, annoyed there was no mirror. Oh, yeah, of course Cody would have no mirrors. Lucas washed his face and slowly realized Cody had given up his own bed for him. That isn't like Cody. Or is it? We don't really hang out.
