“A drone? Are you sure?” asked Lucas.
“Yeah, but it got away,” answered Katie.
Zacke put it together. “I felt like someone was watching me at my house, too.”
“John said we're safe in our houses, right?” Ariana asked. “Like ingrained protection, or something? I've been depending on that.”
Cody reasoned, “I guess they can still watch from the outside.”
“Who are they?” Katie asked, with a shiver. “That Elder lady?”
“Or her henchmen,” said Ariana, “her, I don't know… minions?”
Katie smiled as she thought of a cartoon banana with one eye. Then she remembered how they all nearly died on that tower. That was just two Rageto agents. If there are more watching…
“How many Rageto are there?” asked Megan.
