A Month of Training

After finishing his tenth round of the first set. Zekith went back to his room. It wasn't late, but, he wanted to get a little rest. and to check something within the Ouroboros ring. When he arrived in his room. He sat on the meditation mat and closed his eyes. His consciousness was drawn into the Ouroboros ring. Walking over to the combat training room his eyes widened with surprise. In an area he now saw the first set. All five moves of himself. However unlike when he first visited. The figures where actually moving. Completing each movement to perfection. Something else that is different. The two fighting sets he received from Ma Hao were moving now as well. However, one shined with a red glow and the other was glowing with a golden color. Instantly understanding that these are the second sets for Fire style and Earth style of the Ra clan fighting technique. Both of which he happens to have a high affinity for. Smiling he got to work studying these forms. He took an hour and then returned to his own body. Noticing the ancient clock that runs on auto storing energy. "Only twenty minutes have passed? I was in there for an hour." Instantly he understood what was going on. So time in the Ouroboros ring is three times faster than outside the ring. This is good. I can use this. This must have been a function the Ma Hao unlocked. He changed his strategy on how he was going to train using this time advantage. Spending many hours within the ring. Fortunately, nobody disturbed him while he was in his room. Over the next few days he found Krom and gave him a copy of the second set for the Fire style. His reasoning for doing so was simple. Why hoard something that can benefit the clan. Krom was extremely excited when he saw the diagram. He couldn't stop himself from asking a million questions. However, Zekith could only answer with. "The ancestor gave it to me and never said I couldn't pass it on to another clan member." Shrugging his shoulders. "Young Patriarch... Thank you." Krom's deep voice was packed full of emotion. From that day he would train with a new vigor. Everyone was focused on getting stronger. Zekith had learned from Aunt Pol that she also taught Kinta the first set and that through the gem he received. He was able to acquire the second set for Wind style of the Ra clan fighting technique. He's more solitary and will not show himself before being able to produce some results. It is clear that he is advancing. But, I am curious to see just how far he's advanced. I also haven't forgotten about the baby turtle. Every night I make sure to prepare a good selection of Earth infused flower buds, peddles, fruits and vegetables. I have the same routine. I lay my sack down and arrange the food for the baby turtle. This time I grilled some of the vegetables and added Earth infused honey to some of the fruits and bread. After taking a bite. The little guy was experiencing pure joy. It was written all over it's face. He was so happy. Instead of leaving like usual Zekith stayed and introduced himself. He spoke to the turtle like a friend and told the little guy about his training. The baby turtle looked at him and would nod every know and then. As if it was actually listening. All the while still eating. When the food was done and the conversation was over. The turtle began leaving but turned to Zekith dripped its head one last time as a gesture of goodbye before it zipped off. Leaving a golden streak in it wake. "It seems your strategy is working." Ren commented. "I'm going to try something similar but different tomorrow. There isn't much time before we have to leave." Smiling as he left the side garden. Training continued the next morning like normal. Zekith was in the Combat training room completing his mastery of the second sets for Fire and Earth. First he tried the Earth style second set. Starting with the first set and including his chi. He could tell that he was more powerful than a few weeks prior but he wasn't sure in terms of scale. Pushing this thought to side. He began moving his body through the second set of movements for Earth style and adding his mage force. His body began to produce a golden scales. Wam, wam, wam... One by one they came out until 13 scales were present floating around him. They two meters in heights and a good two inches thick. They could be moved and reformed into many different combination. Playing with all the possibilities he could think of. He trained using this form tirelessly. When he was satisfied with his current usage of Earth style. He switched to Fire style. "I actually really want to see this style the most." In the history of the Ra clan there weren't very many people that could use the second set dedicated to the Fire style of the Ra clan fighting technique. This first issue is mage force. Ra clan had Magi but majority of them were produced by the other elements. The second issue was a little more complicated. Fire style is special. Something within the Ra clan blood only allowed select few to be able to cultivate it. It is known as the strongest technique of the Ra clan fighting style. Suddenly, he thought back to what Krom did when he defeated the Profound Beast from before. His form looked a lot like a firebird. Although it wasn't complete. Enough of the form was there to be able to understand what it was. "Let's see what mine is like?" Zekith began to move once again with the first set and adding his chi. Then he began the Fire style and added his mage force. Vroosh, vroom! He had only start the first of the five movements and this was the reaching. Although he was clearly surprised by the sudden torrent of power. He still wanted to continue. Second move, third move and two huge iridescent wings and long two pronged tail feathers. Shot out behind him. Vroosh, vroosh, vroom! Fourth move and the head formed with a majestic crown. Made from more of those iridescent feathers. When he finished the fifth and final move to the Fire style second set. "KAAAAAA!" A Phoenix was now surrounding and it seemed to come alive. The heat it was producing could melt metal. But Zekith was complete unharmed or phased by the heat. He trained in this state until he was exhausted and took a nap in the combat training room floor. "This boy works so hard. Even if I don't know the details. I can tell that he is now shouldering a heavy burden." Ren sighed. "I can only help the best I can. But this child is going to shake the world." She thought back to watching to boy train. Shaking her head in amazement. "Shake the world indeed." When Zekith woke up he left the Ouroboros ring. It was evening again and he wanted to do something special for his little turtle friend. He set up his sack as usual. Putting it on the floor spreading it out and arranging a few of the same items as always. Earth infused flowers, fruits and vegetables. However, the next thing he brought out of the storage ring was a roasted chicken. Of course it to was Earth infused and the aroma permeated the garden within seconds. Our little baby turtle friend couldn't resist. The little guy bolted over to the chicken at top speed. Chomping down the whole thing in mere moments. When he was finished the baby turtle looked sad and gave Zekith a pleading look. To which he just laughed and pulled out another roasted chicken. "Here." He tossed the chicken over to the turtle.
