The prophecy and it's carrier

Chapter four

The next day, the king asked his guards to prepare his horse and that he wanted to visit an old friend.

The king rode on his horse to the house of the man but he didn't find him. The king searched and asked the people he saw but it turned out that the man had not been seen ever since the war.

The king didn't know what to do next, he rode back to his palace and sat down on the couch. The king thought that they had no other option but to wait for whatever had attacked them to attack again.

The king could not imagine that he was going to be the cause of the many people that would be dead when the attack came again for the second time.

In the kingdom above the grounds (the fairy's kingdom)

There is a festive air in the fairy's kingdom and lots of noise.

The king had organized and little get together a party to welcome his soldiers back from war.

"My great soldiers, saviours of the existence of fairies, welcome back, please accept this little party as an appreciation from the king and all the fairies" the king spoke loudly and celebrated with the generals.

"Thank you, your majesty" the guards replied after which they changed from their war outfits and joined the celebration.

Afterwards, the king and his soldiers went into the palace.

"I trust there is no wounded amongst you and none of you died?" the king asked

"Yes your majesty, we return with our full army" the leader of the soldiers replied.

"And how were the humans were they competitive, did they fight back?" the king asked

"No your majesty, they were not competitive, they just fled as we tore their land apart, they seemed to not know that they were at war, but some helpless ones threw weapons at us, I was lucky not to get cut by a blade like a weapon" a soldier answered.

The king was interested in this weapon and so he asked all his soldiers to go back to their families except the soldier who had mentioned a weapon.

The soldiers happily went back to their families but many of them who didn't have a family yet went back to their homes.

"So this weapon how did it look like and most importantly how sharp was it, "the king asked

"It was a very long weapon which had a wooden body and a blade at the top, so if they were to use it, they were going to throw the part with the blade to a person" the soldier replied

"And how did you escape this weapon, "the king asked.

"I saw that the human was planning something and since I was in the air, it was easy for me to give way for it"the soldier replied.

"It is getting late now, why don't you hurry to your home and prepare for capturing the humans," the king said before leaving the palace.

The king feared that the weapon that the soldier spoke of was what the humans would use to stop them from existing.

The king had a lot of questions but no one could answer them except the humans, and part of the question was whether the humans had a way of reaching them that they didn't know about.

The next day, the king invited all the generals and officials to the palace for tea.

They sat at the round table with a teapot on the table along with tea cups and plates of biscuits.

"I believed you all heard that I sent my soldiers down to the human world to give them the war that they asked for"the king started.

"They didn't ask for war, the prophecy stayed everything and you attacked the humans based on the prophecy," a general said.

"Yeah well, didn't the prophecy also state that they were asking for war" the king replied angrily.

"Your majesty, I understand that you don't want the fairies to stop existing but don't you think it is best for us to not interfere in the actions of the prophecy and the prophecy never really stated they asked for war, nor did it state itself clear, the prophecy wasn't clear enough for us to understand, maybe the diviners should foresee the future again" the general replied

"How would you like it if I wiped out your whole generation and none of your bloodlines existed, "the king said with a smile on his face.

"Forgive me, your majesty, I was being unreasonable but punish me instead of killing my family, "the general said bowing his head for forgiveness

"Listen, I didn't say I was going to do it, so did the prophecy never said anything about the humans asking for war, so if you could turn what I asked into what you said, then I am afraid you would find out that the prophecy meant that the humans asked for war" the king replied

"But why would they ask for war from a more powerful person than them, isn't this a trap, isn't this the prophecy, there is a difference between seeing a prophecy and interpreting the prophecy" another general spoke.

"I don't know why they would ask for war from a more powerful being than them but maybe it just shows their foolishness," an official said.

"What does seeing a prophecy and interpreting it to mean, why does it have to be now that we need an interpreter for the prophecy, , "the king asked.

"Maybe it's just because the prophecy is more complicated than any of the prophecies, if it is, I am afraid, it can't be read more than once, "a general said.

"Why can't a prophecy be read more than once, that is insane, I don't understand"an official questioned.

"The humans cannot ask us for war, why would they if we are more powerful your majesty,," an official asked the king.

"Don't you think I have carefully considered these, or do I look like a human to be asked these questions about them"the king angrily replied.

"Let's not tear ourselves apart because of the prophecy, we must understand the prophecy before acting" another official spoke

"Don't you think it's a little too late for this, you could have said this earlier"a general replied.

"If the humans have no power, they can't possibly know of the prophecy" an official spoke.

"Don't you understand what a prophecy does, the prophecy allows us to see beyond our world, so the humans are plotting this and the prophecy is telling us what they are plotting as simple as that"a general replied.

"The prophecy never spoke of a particular human, instead it said humans, so if we want to stop the prophecy, we will have to wipe out all the humans from existing which only means that the prophecy is not clear"the first general replied.

"If you have a lot of questions about the human why don't you walk up to them and ask them what they know about the prophecy," an official said.

"I didn't call all of you guys here for you to argue and contradict each other, I called you here to tell you the decision I have made, understand and respect that"the king shouted.

"We apologize, your majesty, we were simply contributing to the conversation you started, "the first general said.

"I don't need contributions, I need solutions and if I am always going to find the solution to things and problems that concern us I don't see the need of all of you," the king said.

"We are absolutely speechless aren't we, well if they aren't I am"the closest general to the king spoke.

"And what business is it of mine to know about you all of a sudden forgetting how to speak"the king replied.

" We don't have any answers to the questions we are asking ourselves so I will send my soldiers tomorrow to the human land again to capture as many as they can, how good is that?" the king said.

"I think this new plan is better than waging war, but if the soldiers get seen, won't the humans fight back thinking they have come to kill them"an official questioned.

"Then send the soldiers with invisibility abilities, they will do"the king replied and dismissed the meeting before going out for a while to enjoy nature and flowers blooming.

The soldiers gathered in the training ground and waited for their leader.

The leader of the soldiers arrived and told the soldiers that only as many of them that could be invisible were going to the human world and that they were not going to attack them, but they were going to capture them and e*****e them on their lands just like the king had commanded.

The next day, once it was dawn, the soldiers went to the human world as instructed, they switched to their invisibility ability and walked amidst the humans.

In the human kingdom(Middle Kingdom)

The fairies had already arrived and had captured some of the humans and left before they were caught.

The humans ran and shouted in terror because of what they had witnessed, they could not believe that the king had still done nothing about the creature that was killing and attacking them.

The people knew that the creature that was attacking them possessed extraordinary abilities and powers that they had never witnessed before.

It was as if the creature was new and was known to no one.

The people knew that they could not attack someone they could not see the same as why a blind man couldn't go to war.

The king of the land called another meeting but only a few of the people attended the meeting.

The king was not pleased with the way their world had turned, they had started living in fear and the only thing they ever got was that the creature only attacked once it was dawn and there was no safe place in their town, they could only pray that the creature didn't take them.

The kingdom above the ground(the fairy's kingdom)

The fairy's soldiers had returned with news for the king about how they had captured the humans and placed forced them to labour on their lands.

The soldiers reported to the king that they had enslaved the humans on their lands and that they had fulfilled the duty that he had sent them.

The king was sure that with the way he had settled the problem. with the humans, the prophecy would not be fulfilled.

The king's soldiers reported that they were going to the human world with their army to capture and labour the rest humans in the places they had not visited.

The king told the soldiers that they could do what they wanted to the humans and that he didn't care what happened or became of them and the only thing he cared about was them not going out of existence because of the humans.

The soldiers rejoiced and celebrated with the rest of the fairies and the king just watched from his seat and thought he had saved the fairies and stopped the prophecy from happening.
