Sweet Lies

Chapter I

Jason left the room and went to Matteo's room.

"You shouldn't get so dressed up to see another man," said Jason.

- It's not for Liam, I told you that my friend is coming here this year - Matteo said putting on as much perfume as possible - I haven't seen her in two years.

"She is capable of killing there with so much perfume," he said, faking a choking. "She knows that she has feelings for her.

- We grew up together, it will never happen - said Matteo - I just want her to see that I'm fine, smelling and full of suitors.

- I think the glass has dried, can we go now.

"Sure," he said, leaving with a smile on his face.

Veteran students usually sit on the lawn in front of the school to see the arrival of newcomers, it is almost a tradition since the school is in a small town far from the capital. The climate is pleasant and the place helps to have control in case any incidents happen.

Every year there is a festival in the small town and during the festival some gangs take the opportunity to update their members and sometimes their bosses.

Because of the students, because it is a mixed school, these gangs keep an eye on the place and even students are part of it.

So the tradition of meeting newbies is so popular, and each year there is an omega that draws more attention than the others for its beauty and its sweet scent.

Jason and Matteo sat at the top of the lawn, it was a common place for them, the other students didn't sit there because they knew they would be there to occupy the place, the two alphas were the center of the school girls' delusions, they had all that a good party should have was alphas of a noble family, with parents in important positions and the charm of letting anyone fall for them.

- It seems that Liam couldn't hide from his ex where he was going - said Matteo when he saw his friend getting out of the car and entering the school gates - She must have found out and forced him to bring her with him.

"I'm going to need to change countries to get away from it," joked Jason.

"The next time they leave me alone at school, it will be the last time they will breathe," said Liam as he approached them.

"You brought up your sister," said Jason as he hugged him.

Selina hugged Jason and grabbed his arm.

"I bet you missed me," said Selina, almost whispering.

- You're dating Liam, aren't you?

- Does that bother you?

"No," said Jason, taking her arm from his and almost pointing it at Liam, who was exchanging words with Matteo.

Selina grabbed her boyfriend's arm and ran a hand around his waist, intending to make Jason jealous.

- Alissa! - Matteo said hugging her friend tightly and for a long time.

- Matteo, I missed you too, but ...

- Relax, just to help you, my perfume will help you keep those tarnished alphas away - he said, releasing her.

- Thanks.

- These are my friends, Liam, his sister, Selina and Jason - Matteo introduced everyone - guys, this is my friend, Alissa Grayson.

- Nice to meet you, Miss. Grayson - Jason said understanding and shaking the girl's hand while he never took his eyes off hers.
