Dalton. I knew something was wrong the second she didn't answer the second phone call, it isn't like her and even though I knew she was busy she would send a text letting me know when she'd be later than expected. that and I had a gut feeling, call or whatever you want but I knew in my heart something was wrong. I hoped in my truck speeding towards the cafe. on the way I called Ellie to see if she'd heard from her and when she hadn't either my heart sank. thoughts of the worst things crossed my mind. when I hung up with her I prayed Ashley would be okay, I prayed I was over reacting. I jumped out of my truck when I got there, chases truck parked beside her car and I wasn't sure I was ready for what I was about to walk into. there was no way he could hurt her?
