Mia's POV: I held on to the rails, my gaze wandered across the gate, hoping to see his car or his bike. "Calm down, Mia, your brother will be here soon. There's no way he's going to stay away after what he just heard," my uncle, Elder Justin, muttered. I turned towards him as he sipped from his glass of wine, "Not when he's with a woman." He raised his head, his lips curled as he dropped the wine, "Then, when he's done, he will surely find his way down here. I think that's better." He falls back into his chair, hands folded on his chest, his gaze fixed on me, "Tell me, what are you going to do about what you just found out?" My shoulders fell, my jaw sitting pretty on my right palm, my gaze trailed the floor up to his face, "Honestly..... I have no idea." He shakes his head, the smile quickly disappears, "Your parents weren't like this." He held on to his glass of wine, pointing at me, as he sat forward, his gaze piercing deep into mine, "Hope you are aware you need to do better, and be better than your parents?" I exhaled and turned to face the gate, my gaze slowly moving to the moon, tilting it towards him. "I am aware, but I doubt I will be able to do so." I turned, resting on the rails, my arms folded on my boobs, "I know you want Trey, and I want to be a replica of our parents. But I don't think that will be possible. I doubt if my parents lived or ruled, trying to be like my grandparents. They didn't. Even if they did, I wouldn't want to do such." "What if that's the only way to get what you want or take you to what we all desire, what you desire..?" We all turned towards the door where his thick, frail voice was coming from. There he was, leaning on the door, with his hands behind his back. His white beard, which hung down to his chest, his oily, puffy cheeks, and his oceanic blue, balled eyes. "Uncle Diego," my arms spread apart as I walked towards him, with a wide grin on my face. His body didn't move as I moved closer; his sweet, earthy cologne greeted me. I wrapped my hands around him, resting my head on his chest, listening to his heart. I felt his palm, just like in old times, brush down my hair repeatedly, "It's nice to see you again, Mia. I wonder what my late brother would have said if he had seen you and me in this position?” I pulled away laughing. Elder Justin wasn't left out. "You are his brother, I doubt if he was going to do anything. Besides, he knows your thoughts about his daughter aren't bad." I walked away, holding on to the rails, "Yeah, I am aware, it's nice to see you again Justin," I watched as they both shook hands, while Elder Diego sat beside him. Elder Diego's gaze was on me, "Where's Trey, the soon-to-be alpha?" My lips opened, but Elder Justin beat me to it, "He's on his way, though we aren't sure if he will arrive soon, or maybe tomorrow." His gaze moved to his wristwatch, and then to the sky, and then to the bottle of wine. He walked over to the old rocky wooden chair which was beside Elder Justin. He sat down, grabbed one of the empty glasses, and the bottle of wine, filling his glass with a small amount of wine. I turned facing the gate at the sound of a bike, the corner of my lips tugged up, my eyes brightened. "I wasn't expecting him to be this early. Well, it's time to get down to business," Elder Justin muttered. I swiped my neck backward, and nodded, returning my gaze to the gate. I watched as he parked his bike, and took off his helmet. He spread his arms apart, and immediately he sighted me. I beckoned to him to come over, while I walked over to the second vacant chair in the room. I stared at both of my uncles, who also doubled as the elders of the pack. "Are you sure you both won't have this wine delivered to your home?" Their gaze met mine, they both exchanged glances, "What? It's not a harmful question." "Mia you...." "Good evening uncles," Trey's deep voice overrode whatever Elder Justin was about to say. Their heads hung over their necks, while he looked down on them, before walking over to peck me on the head. He sat down immediately, placing his helmet on the floor, "I am sorry if I am late," he fell back into the chair, "I was about to get down to something important when Mia's call came in, and I would like to head back as soon as possible to get done with what I was about to do." "Chill man, you just got here," I exhaled, "Why do you sound like you aren't glad to see Elder Justin and Elder Diego?" His gaze returned to them, and back to me, "I am no longer that young boy who gets excited when I see them. Things have changed sis, no hard feelings though." "Yeah he's right," Elder Diego sat up, and dropped his glass of wine, "Let's get down to the main business of the night." Elder Justin picked up his black leather bag which lay close to the legs of his chair. The ruffling sound of a brown envelope blended with the air, which he passed to Elder Diego. Elder Diego dipped his hands into the envelope and brought out a white piece of paper. His eyes widened, and he tilted his gaze towards Elder Justin, "How were you able to get this?" I watched as Trey got up, and snatched the paper from Elder Diego's hand. "That's none of your business. What matters right now is what we can do with the document, if we succeed in manipulating, or redocumenting what's written." Trey's eyes moved from the document to Elder Justin, and back to the paper, then to Elder Justin, "What? Uncle, how possible is this?" I got on my feet and snatched the paper from Trey, my eyes danced through every line, my lips parted, now I understood the look on Trey's and Uncle Diego's faces. "What do we do now?" I managed to ask.
