I’ve sold my construction company, bought an RV, a shitload of fishing gear, and went fishing once. The only place I’d driven the RV to was the gas station and up the highway a bit.
Figures. After all those years of talking about it, when I made it happen, it’s sat in the driveway.
Most days, I wake up early, have coffee, and read the newspaper. Once Shop Side opens, I go down there, drink more coffee, and read another newspaper. Plain fact is, I’m lazy. Generally, I sit down to lunch around 11:00 a.m., and then watch the stories with Ellen. Those people on the soaps have some f****d up lives, that’s for sure.
I enjoy the time sitting with my wife, though. She often grows tired of me and tells me to go somewhere and do something. That’s about the time I’ll go back down to Shop Side and
