I haven’t regretted my decision to leave the nursing field. My medical supply business has progressed slowly. I supply hospitals, doctor offices, and clinics. It’s hard work starting a new business, but it’s a nice break from nursing.
Prior to this, I’d been taking care of dear Rozie. I’d done so as a favor to Kaley. I’d grown closer to her, and she’d become one of my best friends. I still miss her. It’s hard to believe she’s passed. She was such a good person and cared for others.
I also miss going to Kaley’s old store. I don’t frequent it that often since she’d sold it several months ago. It isn’t the same without her. We visit on occasion, but I’m so busy with my company, it’s hard to find the time to drop by her house.
