Cynthia gradually sank her body into the warm water in the tub until only her head was above the water. The bathroom was so quiet and peaceful. She closed her eyes again, recalling last night's nightmare. Blood was everywhere in her dream. The bright red blood seemed poised to engulf her entire world. Cynthia suddenly opened her eyes and let out a long breath. Her back was covered in cold sweat, quickly washed away by the water. The bathroom mirror was fogged with heavy condensation. Water droplets from the faucet fell incessantly. Her damp, loose hair clung to her cheeks. Cynthia suddenly felt helpless and hugged herself tightly. "Mrs. Stewart, it's time to have breakfast," said Tina outside the bathroom door. With the footsteps getting closer and closer, Tina knocked on the door.
