CHAPTER SIXTEEN Half an hour after they left the crime scene, Rylie stood in the break room of a small gas station, staring at a monitor and squeezing her hands into tight fists at her sides. The technology at this station was a little more modern, so they had all their surveillance video digitized. The cameras were newer, too, and captured several angles, not just in front of the station, but at each pump, too. And the output was as clear as day. Unfortunately, it didn’t tell them anything.
