I opened my eyes and glanced around. I had barely adjusted to this setting, the mini bed and the lack of huge curtains that filtered in rays of light that always woke me up. It wasn't so bad but still I missed my room and the exclusives that came with it. I missed everything, my job, the house and even father's constant worries.
Today was one of those days when I would reflect on the past and wished I could change things. One of the days I regretted telling Nathan my secrets, one of the days I wondered how and why he did that to me. I knew why actually, it was because of Violet and each day, I asked myself the same question: "Would I have done that to Nathan if I was in his shoes? Would I give him up to claim Violet?
