Violet's POV
Where am I? I woke up in the middle of nowhere. It was a vast field with bright green grass spread all around. I was confused at first. I couldn't recall being driven here or even travelling at all. I pinched myself to make sure it was real. It was real all right. I looked around me. There was just grass everywhere. I laid back down on the grass. This couldn't be real. How did this even happen?
I dusted the grass from my body. I stood up and rubbed my arms with my hands trying to rid myself of the cold. It wasn't working. It was a bright day and this place was somewhat beautiful too. But where was I? And where did everyone go? Why was I left alone here?
I felt empty. I couldn't remember much, but I could remember the dining table, and how uncomfortable dinner was for me.
